presented by; Troy Bishopp of Bishopp Family Farm, New York State

     920 Larmer Line, Fraserville
(corner of Larmer Line and Cty Rd 10)

A 5th generation beef farmer, Troy Bishopp has been using rotational grazing for over 20 years on his family farm.  His hands-on experience is complemented by a degree in Animal Husbandry. Troy custom grazes 60,000 lbs. of grass-finished beef and stocker calves on 500 acres in up-state New York. He also manages a cow/calf herd. He is the grazing specialist/advocate for the Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District, and has received numerous awards for his leadership in grass-based agriculture. As someone who works on the land himself, Troy’s presentations are practical, and thought provoking.

Cost:   $30 ($20 members). Homemade lunch also available for $7.
Registration: Call 1-877-822-8606 or email Karen Maitland at info@efao.ca
To make this session as useful as possible, Troy is asking for discussion suggestions prior to the event.  Have your suggestions ready when you register!
